This Redstone mechanism resembles the human body. The whole structure is similar to the Tamagotchi, which was a popular toy about 10 years ago. Basically You have to take care of the creature, feed it food, play and the like. Perhaps someone thinks this idea is too childish, but the developer finds the creature amusing.
